NEWS: New Interim Executive Director Named
Board of Directors President Karen Ostrander announced that the agency has engaged Jerome H. Mosman as Interim Executive Director.
Karen Ostrander, President of the Sixty and Better Board of Directors, announced today that the agency has engaged Jerome H. Mosman as Interim Executive Director. Karen Ostrander stated: “Mr. Mosman knows our agency well. He successfully served as leader of the agency over eight years before he retired. We are very pleased that he has agreed to step in as Interim Executive Director to oversee the day-to-day operations. He is charged by the Board to support their efforts to secure a new Executive Director and to help develop a new plan of action to move ahead.”
Mr. Mosman has a Master of Public Administration degree and over 30 years in nonprofit management experience. Mr. Mosman shared: “I am honored by the Board’s request to come back and lead Sixty and Better at this time of transition. I am excited to further the agency Mission to empower older adults to live with purpose, independence and dignity. This Mission has not changed and is close to my heart. Older adults are becoming more isolated especially now during the pandemic. As always, Sixty and Better is committed to reducing the isolation of older adults and promoting Healthy Aging.”
