Jingle All the Way!

Tuesday was full of joy as more than 300 Activity Center Participants attended the annual Frank and Jean Buhler Winter Holiday Dance held on the Tarrant County Resource Connection campus.

At the Dance, guests enjoyed breakfast and lunch, dancing with friends to live music from Latin Express Band, a visit from Santa, and carols performed by the Women at the Well Singers of the White Settlement Activity Center.

Nearly 250 teddy bears were presented to the Women's Center of Tarrant County that had been collected and donated by Sixty and Better Participants. The teddy bears are used by the Women's Center to help comfort children helped by the organization.

On hand were two special guests, Sixty and Better Founder Evelyn Siegel and David Buhler, son of Frank and Jean Buhler. The Frank and Jean Buhler Charitable Fund generously underwrites Sixty and Better programming, including the popular dances enjoyed by participants.

In his remarks, David said that, "[his] parents' hearts would be filled with joy to see everyone here today, celebrating with one another."

In addition to the assistance from The Frank and Jean Buhler Charitable Fund, Sixty and Better is thankful to have magnanimous support from sponsors Cigna-HealthSpring, WellMed, and UnitedHealthcare.

We're also thankful for our many volunteers from local branches of Bank of America and Santander Bank, and Huguley Hospital.
