Who We Serve

Programs are offered at no cost to older adults 60+ in Tarrant County.

When Jenny called Sixty and Better, she hoped to find a way to help her father feel better.
After years of chronic conditions took a toll on his health, Francisco, 73, ended up hospitalized at JPS. The doctor referred him to Sixty and Better and the wellness programs we offer.

Francisco enrolled in our Chronic Disease Self Management program, with weekly sessions designed to help people gain self-confidence in their ability to control symptoms from chronic conditions. In one month Jenny's dad went from not being able to get out of bed to working on a project in his yard.

"Before we couldn't get him out of his room; now we can't get him to come back inside!"
